Chinese actor and model Jin Ze has tragically passed away at the age of 33. On June 5, Jin Ze’s management company released an official statement announcing that the actor, whose birth name was Zhang Jiajie, had passed away at his home in Hangzhou on June 4.
The agency expressed its deep sorrow while asking the public and media to respect the privacy of his family during this difficult time.
Born in Weihai, Shandong Province, in 1993, Jin Ze first entered the entertainment industry as a fashion model. After graduating from the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, he built a career in modeling before later transitioning into acting.
He gained further attention after appearing on the 2016 music variety program I Can See Your Voice and eventually established himself as an actor through numerous film and television projects.
Throughout his career, Jin Ze appeared in dramas including Hello, Joann, Forget You, Remember Love, Legally Romance, Fake Princess, and Give You My Heart. The actor’s sudden passing has left many fans and colleagues shocked, with tributes continuing to pour in across social media.
