In a recent variety show, actor Ahn Jae Hyun was caught off guard after Choo Sung Hoon suddenly asked about his marital status.
While eating, Choo Sung Hoon looked for a wet wipe, which Ahn Jae Hyun noticed and gave him one from his own bag.
Shocked at his thoughtful gesture, Choo asked, “Are you married?” The unexpected question, however, caused the atmosphere to freeze up instantly.
Taken aback, Ahn changed the subject quickly. Noticing this, Kim Jong Kook stated, “Jae Hyun, it’s ok. He just doesn’t know; that’s why.”
Still unable to grasp the situation, Choo asked, “Why?” In response, Ahn eventually said, “I’ve been married before.”
Choo Sung Hoon expressed regret, stating, “There’s a lot I don’t know.” Ahn Jae Hyun reassured him and responded, “This is just another way for us to get to know each other. It’s my fault; I didn’t introduce myself.”
However, netizens criticized Choo for not doing prior research about the people he would be working with.
