Idol groups usually have a specific image they want to portray (at least at debut) — a perfect, flawless image, though many groups have pushed against this these days. Still, there are certain things that idols avoid, both earlier and later in their careers.

Recently, however, a boy group has seemingly pushed back against these picture-perfect ideas of how they should behave.
Though the first mentions were months ago, WayF Entertainment‘s upcoming boy group has very recently begun sharing content from their lives. From the jump, it was apparent that the group was different than many today, immediately going for a sexier image even before their identities were officially known.
Additional posts showed the group engaging in activities that new idols usually do not — drinking, clubbing, and even fighting each other. These clips were not “exposed” but rather shared by the group themselves.

The members range in age from 19 to 22, and have described themselves as “NU-K-Pop” instead of K-Pop, recently giving a preview of their upcoming music.
