An exhibition on singer and actor T.O.P’s first solo album was ultimately halted due to a sharp drop in participant numbers. Coincidentally, the cancellations reportedly followed immediately after T.O.P acknowledged his relationship with actress Nana, drawing attention to the fandom atmosphere.
T.O.P’s fan page CHOIDOT announced via official social media on October 4th that the OFF GRID: NEW GROUND exhibition, scheduled to be held over two days from October 31 to November 1, would be canceled.

This exhibition was a photo exhibition inspired by T.O.P’s first solo full-length album Another Dimension. Each of the 11 songs included in the album was to be reinterpreted in different spaces and concepts, with various interactive programs allowing fan participation planned as well.
The fan page explained that scale has been determined each year based on actual participant numbers from previous events, and this year the scale was reduced compared to prior years considering T.O.P’s tour schedule and fans’ various situations. The exhibition was prepared based on a total of 300 participants over two days.
However, after reservations opened, actual applications stayed at roughly 25% of the expected scale.
Although the venue rental contract was signed and deposits paid, the fan page said they intended to proceed with the event as planned to keep their promise to those who reserved seats, even at the risk of losses.
However, as cancellation requests from existing reservants continued, the situation changed.
The fan page explained, “The expected attendance dropped to about 10–15% of the originally planned daily participant number,” adding, “We judged that it would be difficult to operate the exhibition normally in the initially planned form and scale with current attendance, so we decided to cancel.”
Particularly, since there were overseas fans planning to visit Korea to view the exhibition, the cancellation was announced promptly to prevent further inconvenience.
The fan page stated, “We provided the notice as quickly as possible to minimize additional inconveniences such as flight and accommodation arrangements,” adding, “As this exhibition was prepared over a long time, this decision is very disappointing and heavy-hearted.” Reservation fees will be fully refunded.
What draws particular attention is that the cancellation of this exhibition was announced immediately after T.O.P and Nana confirmed their relationship.
T.O.P and Nana officially acknowledged their relationship on the 2nd. The two reportedly became close after filming the music video for T.O.P’s solo album track “Completely Crazy!” in January and developed into a couple around June.
Their respective agencies also stated, “They became acquainted through the music video shoot and are currently in a good relationship.”
Nana shared her feelings directly via a fan communication platform, saying, “I understand the sudden news likely surprised many,” and, “We will meet beautifully and healthily.”
Following this, some fans expressed disappointment.
