A bone-chilling video of an elementary school student’s horrifying death has caused a massive uproar in Japan.

Recently, a social media account dedicated to exposing school violence incidents released a shocking video, in which a young student was seen being strangled and then thrown into the sea. According to Yonhap News TV, the incident took place in Osaka.

Reports have identified the victim as an elementary school student and the perpetrator as a middle school student. In the clip, the victim’s face can be seen turning red in pain as the older student forcefully strangled them. The footage also captured the moment the victim fell into the sea. Shockingly, other children who were nearby didn’t intervene. Instead, they were seen laughing at the situation.

As the video spread online, furious netizens demanded strict punishment for the perpetrator, stating that the incident went beyond bullying and should be considered attempted murder. Eventually, the identities of the perpetrators and their families were exposed online. According to some claims, the main perpetrator’s father is the CEO of a company, and he used a child protection organization to get the videos of his son removed from the internet.

After this incident was reported in Korea, it sparked a second wave of outrage and demands for severe consequences for school violence.

    • “That’s a crazy b*stard.”
    • “I wish that all the perpetrators of school violence would have their faces clearly exposed and permanently archived online in our country too, so that at least they would carry that stigma for the rest of their lives. But even if there’s video footage showing the perpetrator’s face during the attack, this country will do everything in its power to hide it, claiming it must protect the perpetrator. How pathetic.”
    • “He’s a psychopath, and on top of that, his family is loaded too. I’m worried about his future.”
    • “Insane.”
    • “So relieved to hear that the victim didn’t die. If this video spreads worldwide, there’s no way he will be able to erase it.”
