EVAN (also known as Heeseung) has personally addressed the reason he left ENHYPEN.
EVAN’s first mini album DEATH OF ME media showcase was held on September 7th at the Kyung Hee University Peace Hall in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.
Heeseung, who debuted as a member of ENHYPEN, declared his independence from the group last March and began activities as a solo artist under the name EVAN, attracting attention.
During the showcase, EVAN stated, “Some of you may already know, but I have been deeply contemplating how I should present my music in the future and in what way. I shared the results of my work with the company and had deep discussions, and after long consideration, I decided to pursue my career as a solo artist.”
He continued, “Thankfully, I was able to successfully complete my debut single activities, and I felt overwhelmed by the immense love I received. I feel very nostalgic to be able to safely make a comeback with this mini album ‘DEATH OF ME.’”
He added, “This is both a comeback and a new starting point. I think I will be able to show many different sides of myself. I am determined to respond to my fans by sharing a lot of things through my music.“
