A K-Pop idol revealed that he experienced an unexpected culture shock at an x-rated club he visited after shooting a music video for his new song in Berlin, Germany.
On the 23rd, soloist and 2AM member Jo Kwon appeared on the YouTube channel VIVO TV to share updates and behind-the-scenes stories from his Berlin shoot.
During a conversation with host Song Eun Yi, Jo Kwon naturally brought up an episode from the filming of his recently released music video for “Like I Do.”
Song Eun Yi jokingly commented on Jo Kwon’s bold styling in the video, saying, “Why did you only wear underwear? Isn’t that adult content?” Jo Kwon responded, “It’s adult content if I had taken off even the underwear, but since I was wearing it, it was fine,” which made everyone laugh.
Jo Kwon then recalled the shoot schedule in Berlin and said, “The club we went to after the music video shoot was x-rated. It was a culture shock,” drawing attention. He explained, “After the shoot, the director, staff, and dancer friends went to a club together. Before going, the director told me and the dancers to definitely wear black underwear,” raising curiosity. Song Eun Yi excitedly responded, “I’ve seen people refused entry because of their clothes, but never refused because of their underwear!”
He went on to say the local club atmosphere was much more intense than expected. Jo Kwon said, “When we entered the club, everyone was naked,” to which Song Eun Yi, surprised, asked, “Is it like a naked beach in Europe?”
Jo Kwon replied, “Not just naked, but even more extreme than that. That’s all I’ll say. I’ll leave the rest to your imagination,” teasing Song Eun Yi.
Meanwhile, Jo Kwon debuted as a member of the group 2AM in 2008 and made a comeback last month on the 27th by releasing his first new song in eight years, “Like I Do.”
