On the broadcast airing on the 8th, the real street food documentary Jeon Hyun Moo’s Plan 3 features Jeon Hyun Moo and KwakTube (also known as Kwak Jun Bin) discovering a popular briquette grill pork belly restaurant in Gimcheon with “Trot Barbie” Hong Ji Yoon and EXID’s Solji.
The four gathered in Gimcheon, Gyeongbuk, decide to have “black pork” for their first meal, heading to the restaurant with excitement. Since they’re on a regional trip, the conversation naturally turns to event experiences inside the car. When Jeon Hyun Moo asks about their festival stage experiences, Hong Ji Yoon shows off her “event master” aura, saying, “I think I’ve been to almost every place that has local specialties.”
Not to be outdone, Solji shares the impressive scale of their schedule: “We (EXID) often performed at university and military events, sometimes hitting eight events in a day before finishing with a music show recording.”
Hong Ji Yoon adds that the gifts she received from events were incredible as well, revealing, “In Yeongdeok, I got snow crab; in Jeju, tilefish; and at a Korean beef festival, I received Korean beef and letters.”
Amid the lively “event talk,” the four finally arrive at the briquette grill restaurant specializing exclusively in Jirye black pork. But when Jeon Hyun Moo sees the young-looking owner, he awkwardly smiles, saying, “I prepared a carnation for Parents’ Day, but they look younger than me,” evoking a sense of endearing embarrassment. As twilight falls, the group sits outdoors, grilling meat over the charcoal briquettes, and upon tasting the first bite, they exclaim, “It’s truly delicious.”
