A former SM Entertainment idol, who was with the agency for 13 years, expressed her lingering disappointment.
On the June 8 episode of KBS Cool FM’s Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show, Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany Young and Kim Yewon, actresses in the upcoming musical Yumi’s Cells, which opens on the 30th, appeared as guests.
On the show, Tiffany responded to a listener’s story saying, “You once said you were hurt that SM charged you for parking,” by affirming, “Of course, I was upset about the parking fee,” revealing her continued feelings.
She added, “I was with SM for 13 years,” but when Park Myung Soo jokingly asked if she built the building, she humbly replied, “Together with Girls’ Generation.”
Tiffany recalled, “When the Girls’ Generation 15th anniversary project started, after practice, I was told to pay for parking.” She shared, “Even after they saw my face, they said, ‘Just a moment,’” drawing attention to the incident.
Tiffany was active as a member of Girls’ Generation under SM Entertainment but transferred to a new agency, Pacific Music Group, this April to focus on her acting career.
Meanwhile, the musical Yumi’s Cells is based on the webtoon of the same name and creatively portrays the daily life and love of an ordinary office worker, Yumi, from the perspective of the cells in her head. Tiffany and Kim Yewon both play the role of Yumi.
