The OG K-Pop idol recently sat down on her YouTube channel, where she opened up about her upcoming wedding, her fiancé, baby plans, and even the surprising story of their first kiss.
Seo In Young is set to marry Choi Ji Hoon, the CEO of content creative company NP, in the second half of this year. He is reportedly six years older than her, and according to Seo In Young, this will be his first marriage.
Divorced Idol To Get Married Again—Fiancé Revealed
Referring to her fiancé affectionately, Seo In Young described him as a hardworking businessman rather than someone who simply lives lavishly.
People call him a corporate businessman, but he’s a CEO who works like an employee. He’s a workaholic. I used to have the mindset of, ‘Who doesn’t like someone with a lot of money?’ But now, I like someone who works hard.

The production team also shared that they had first met Seo In Young’s boyfriend at church. Seo In Young joked that the two might seem like an unexpected match, saying, “My boyfriend has this proper, upright feeling, while I’m a little more bubbly and unpredictable. Don’t we seem like we don’t match?”
Seo In Young also revealed that both families have already met—usually signaling the marriage being blessed by the in-laws and going as planned. She added that her father also knows her boyfriend well, but because of the heartbreak she experienced in the past, he advised her to take things slowly.
Our families have already all met, and we’ve already had the formal family meeting. I’m close with his family and close with my mother-in-law. We get along well.

Seo In Young explained that one of the reasons she hesitated to speak publicly about the marriage was because her fiancé is not a celebrity. But when reports revealed his name, company, and other personal details, Seo In Young said her fiancé remained calm and supportive. “He told me he was okay with everything and just told me not to get stressed,” she shared.
She then confessed just how deeply she feels for him.
This is the first time in my life I’ve met a man like him. It’s the first time I’ve met someone with this kind of personality. I thought that meeting a man like this was like committing a sin. I tried to avoid him because I was afraid I would end up causing him harm.

Seo In Young also answered more playful questions about their relationship, including the story of their first kiss. “A first kiss doesn’t mean you’re dating,” she clarified, “and without realizing it, I kissed him. It was somewhere between a peck and a kiss.”
As for baby plans, Seo In Young said she is not thinking about children just yet.
Right now, I have someone I need to protect. The same goes for my YouTube family. I think I need a plan and to do things accordingly. Whether that means freezing my eggs or whatever else. But right now, I’m very satisfied with working.

Seo In Young also shared some details about the wedding itself. She revealed that the ceremony will be a smal l wedding held at a church and said she plans to show the wedding through YouTube. “I did all the over-the-top stuff the first time,” she said Seo In Young then directly referenced the extravagant flower decorations from her first wedding, which previously drew attention for reportedly costing ₩100 million KRW (about $65,500 USD).
Still, Seo In Young seems determined to approach this marriage with sincerity. When faced with comments like, “Let’s see how many months she lasts this time,” she joked, “I don’t know either,” before adding, “This time, I’m really going to try to live well.”
