Global girl group Gen1es has announced their disbandment.

In 2024, the survival show Chuang Asia: Thailand, a spin-off of the Chuang series, which was a spin-off of the Produce series, aired. Of the 70 trainees who participated, 9 were selected to form the final group, which officially debuted in May 2024.

In a notice shared on their social media, the group announced it would disband earlier than the contracted three years. The letter also stated that the group’s final activities would take place on February 6.

To all our beloved fans who have supported Gen1es,
Thank you all for your long-term support and love for Gen1es.
After thorough communication and friendly consultation with the members, we officially
announce that all activities carried out under the name of Gen1es will come to an end on February 6, 2026, and the group will be officially disbanded.
Although the group activities are coming to an end, we sincerely hope that everyone will continue to support QIAO YIYU, RUAN, PAILIU, YEAN, ELYN, WANG KE, XUEYAO, DIDI and EMMA. We sincerely wish them to continue to shine and forge ahead on their respective development paths in the future.
We are incredibly grateful for the memories we’ve shared. Until we meet again at new heights.

Gen1es released two albums since debut, with the most recent being released in July 2025.
