A girl group star is embarking on an exciting new journey in both her professional and personal lives.
Kitano Ruka is a former member of the Japanese idol girl group SKE48. She joined the group in 2013 and left (“graduated”) after her final activities on June 30, 2024. Since leaving the group, she has branched out into other areas of entertainment, such as acting.
On March 31, the 26-year-old actress told fans, via her social media, that she has gotten married. She has also left her longtime agency, Zest, which she joined as an idol. But this isn’t a goodbye. In her handwritten statement, Ruka thanked her supporters and said that she will continue her activities in the entertainment industry.
She didn’t reveal any details about her mysterious husband.
