ILLIT‘s Wonhee has become the latest idol to spark debate over one of K-Pop’s newest fashion trends.
During ILLIT’s recent tour stop in Japan, Wonhee took the stage wearing a white, cropped T-shirt paired with low-rise jeans. The outfit intentionally exposed the waistband of her underwear, which featured a ribbon detail.
The “exposed underwear” look by sagging has recently started appearing in K-Pop styling, but it has already become a divisive trend among fans and netizens.

After photos of Wonhee’s outfit spread online, a post discussing the look quickly gained attention on a popular Korean forum. While some admitted they had never understood the appeal of sagging styles in general, many said the addition of ribbon underwear made the trend even harder to comprehend.
