An idol-turned-actor recounted the tense moment when he personally chased down a drunk driving vehicle and handed it over to the police.
On July 8th, tvN’s You Quiz on the Block released a teaser featuring U-KISS member-turned-actor Lee Jun Young.
In the video, Lee Jun Young shared the story of how he spotted a drunk driving vehicle and pursued it for nearly an hour before handing it over to the police. He recalled, “I was on the phone with the CEO at the time, but I said, ‘Hyung, I have something to take care of,’ hung up, and followed the car,” describing the urgency of the situation.
In fact, upon noticing the suspicious vehicle’s movements, he immediately called the police and informed them, “The car in front seems to be driven by a drunk driver,” and kept tailing the car without losing it until the police arrived.
He said, “I followed it with the mindset of ‘It’s better to hit my car than to cause an accident with other vehicles’,” conveying how he took risks to prevent further harm to citizens, which drew admiration.
