Recently, a brand name NOSCARNA teased its new face, and despite the picture being blurred, netizens could easily guess that it was Wonhee. Many fans took to online communities to express their joy at the young idol’s consistent growth in popularity. A viral post praising this achievement of Wonhee also pointed out that within this year alone, the ILLIT member has secured more than six solo brand endorsements.
However, for some reason, this post drew some charged responses from netizens, expressing doubt about Wonhee’s popularity and claiming that it was HYBE’s backing that was getting her these achievements.

- “When it comes to shooting commercials, if any other star does it, it’s attributed to their sheer star power; but if she does it, suddenly it’s just because of their agency’s backing or because they come cheap? Lol. Honestly, those female commenters on Pann are a whole different breed.”
- “Wonhee definitely has star potential.”
- “Ever since the R U Next era, I’ve really felt that HYBE has been making a particularly strong effort to push Wonhee.”
- “It looks like the company’s backing plays a huge role.”
- “I bet more people don’t know who she is.”
- “It doesn’t feel like she is getting paid to do this. Instead, it feels more like they are getting paid.”
