K-ent Murmuring that Disney+ is Gearing Up to Release Knock Off with Kim Soo Hyun Sometime in 2026 After Being Shelved for a Year

So this is not the news I was hoping to hear, I was ready for this drama to be shelved for a lot longer. At least until Kim Soo Hyun‘s scandal has more definitive resolution, right now it’s just him denying the allegations that he dated then underaged Kim Sae Ron who later committed suicide after her own career downfall. Her family continues to stick with their story and allegations, his side has sued back, and his side is also battling lawsuits with various brands who have sued for breach of contract. Disney+ was on the cusp of releasing his drama Knock Off when the scandal exploded last February 2025 and now the platform is rumored to be considering the release of this drama sometime this year. The reason is how much money sunk into it and hoping to recoup it, but it’s highly unlikely it will be promoted since Kim Soo Hyun remains still cancelled in K-ent. It’ll be interesting to see if this rumor comes true later this year.
