On January 10, the 40th Golden Disc Awards took place, honoring a host of artists for their achievements in the past year. Among them was Jennie, who was awarded the “Artist of the Year” Daesang along with two other solo awards and a group one for BLACKPINK’s “Jump.”

She also performed, which was met with critical reactions from netizens.

Following the performance, idol reactions to Jennie’s performance have now become a topic of discussion.
In videos recorded of the artist area of the show, groups including IVE, Stray Kids, and ATEEZ can be seen reacting to Jennie’s performance throughout. As she performed “Filter,” and “Damn Right” many idols can be seen nodding their heads and moving in their seats.
The largest reactions appeared to come during her viral hit “Like Jennie,” when many idols jumped up and began dancing. The end of her performance was met with a standing ovation from many of the groups, as well.
