Actress Kim Yoo Jung recently became a hot topic over her social media activity, leaving fans convinced that she had had enough of “shippers.”

Thanks to the actress’s extensive filmography, Kim Yoo Jung has shared the screen with multiple A-list actors as a female lead, and consequently, has been “shipped” with many of these co-stars, owing to their chemistry. But fans believe that she hit a tipping point recently and allegedly turned off GIF comments on her Instagram account.
The connection between these two phenomena is rather simple— anybody who has even leafed through Kim Yoo Jung’s social media would notice that her comment section is always flooded with GIFs of her costars, regardless of the content itself. Among those, Kim’s My Demon co-star Song Kang is seen the most frequently.
Many fans on social media are now convinced that turning off GIF comments is Kim’s way of telling “shippers” to take a step back. However, it appears to have done little to deter the really dedicated ones.
Youjung, thanks for this. I was so pissed off by those shippers’ GIFs. She’s promoting her other dramas, but the comments are filled with MD GIFs. I’m glad she figured out that there’s an option to turn off GIF comments.
