A Korean actor couple has announced their upcoming marriage on their respective social media account, earning many congratulations from fans, friends, and netizens.
Actor Won Hyun Jun shared on his Instagram on the afternoon of September 14th, “I wanted to be the first to share some news with those who have cherished and supported me all this time. While I’m happy to share this, I still feel a bit shy.”
He continued, “I have promised to spend my life with my most precious partner. On October 4th, we will be together with the closest people to us, smiling in happy times and supporting each other through the difficult ones,” announcing his marriage.
Won Hyun Jun added, “As we welcome a new season, I would appreciate it if you warmly look upon and celebrate our new beginning.”
Along with the announcement, Won Hyun Jun revealed a wedding photo with his fiancée, Lee Soo Jin, that looked straight out of a movie. The picture captured the two sharing a kiss while sitting in a car, showcasing a cinematic moment.
Likewise, Lee Soo Jin shared on her social media account, “On October 4th, I will begin a new chapter with the one I love. Having met the most precious person in my life, I will become one’s wife and start a new season together.”
She expressed, “I’m excited and a little nervous, but I’m truly grateful and comforted knowing there’s someone by my side for all the moments ahead. We would be thankful for your warm blessings on our new beginning.”
Lee Soo Jin concluded, “And I sincerely thank everyone who has always cherished and supported me. I will live happily.” She also drew attention by releasing a wedding photo walking hand-in-hand with Won Hyun Jun on the beach.
Won Hyun Jun debuted in 2009 with the drama Iris, and has delivered impressive performances in films such as Dark Figure of Crime, The Divine Move 2: The Wrathful, Ghost Mansion, The Policeman’s Lineage, and The Devil’s Deal, as well as dramas like Itaewon Class, Bad and Crazy, A Model Family, Payback: Money and Power, Vigilante, Hyper Knife, Low Life, and Walking on Thin Ice.
He gained particular love recently for his role as Kang Gook Cheol (Groundhog), the head of the Special Missions Bureau, in the drama Agent Kim Reactivated.
