A Korean celeb known from the show Ulzzang Generation responded coolly to some netizens’ comments criticizing her age and figure, giving zero f*cks about the haters.
Recently, Hong Young Ki posted a video on her social media account with the caption, “It takes us 30 minutes just to learn this dance… Please cheer for us.”
In the released video, Hong Young Ki is seen dancing with influencers Yoo Bo Hwa and Kim Da Hye on a trip to Paris, France. While the other two wore relatively modest gray t-shirts and jeans, Hong Young Ki caught attention by wearing a tube top that revealed her chest and abdomen.
When netizen left a somewhat rude comment saying, “Young Ki, you’re gaining age weight now…,” Hong Young Ki calmly replied, “Well, I am getting old,” showing a cool attitude while brushing it off.
Previously, Hong Young Ki had also attracted attention with her bold responses to malicious comments. When a netizen criticized her by saying, “I wish you’d stop posting so much revealing content. Why do you post so much showing your chest?” she responded, “You don’t have to look. But I guess you want to see,” drawing eyes with her comeback.
When another fan encouraged her, saying, “Don’t get hurt. It’s all out of jealousy,” she replied maturely, “Don’t worry. I’m past getting hurt by that kind of thing. Still, thank you.” She also agreed with the reaction, “Why do people meddle in others’ business?” by saying, “That’s exactly what I think.”
Hong Young Ki has regularly shared bold photos, including bikinis, on her social media account, confidently moving forward. However, some recent posts drew frowns due to netizens’ excessive and sexual harassment comments.
Hong Young Ki first gained recognition after appearing on Comedy TV’s Ulzzang Generation in 2009 and now runs an online shopping mall. Notably, in February, she announced breaking about ₩160 million KRW (about $104,000 USD) in sales in just 10 minutes and even reaching a maximum daily sales record of ₩420 million KRW (about $274,000 USD), proving her success as a CEO.
