A legendary Korean star recalled her days as a top star and shared her honest feelings from that time.
On the 24th, singer Lee Hyori appeared in a video uploaded on the YouTube channel Fullmoon.
When asked how it felt to live as “Lee Hyori,” she said, “The top star days passed by in a whirlwind, and I think I became arrogant. People around me contributed to that.” She continued, “I thought it was okay for me to act that way. It was a time when I feared nothing and was bold.”
She added, “When all that disappeared, there was a sense of loss,” but also said, “Now, I actually prefer a life without those things.”
Currently running a yoga studio, she shared about her changed daily routine. Lee Hyori said, “Opening the yoga studio created a lot more work, which actually helps me. I get up every day at 5 a.m., so I make sure to go to bed by 10 or 11 p.m. the night before. Having my own rules makes me feel mentally healthy.”
Regarding why she runs the yoga studio, she explained, “Yoga has helped me a lot in life, and through it, I’ve met people who share their hearts. I want those who have similar worries to me to find more comfort through yoga, and I want to give back what I’ve received.”
