Block B‘s P.O was not ready for his old kiss scene with former I.O.I and gugudan member Kang Mina to be brought up on national television.
In the latest episode of tvN’s Amazing Saturday, Seo In Guk and Kang Mina appeared as guests to promote their Monday-Tuesday series, See You At Work Tomorrow! During the broadcast, host Boom suddenly turned the attention to Kang Mina’s past connection with one of the show’s cast members. “I heard there is someone here who kissed Kang Mina,” Boom said, “And apparently, things became a little awkward afterward. Who is it?”
Before Kang Mina could even respond, P.O reacted first, asking, “Who could it be?!” He then stood up and said, “It’s me, I’m sorry,” causing the studio to burst into laughter. Kang Mina confirmed that the person was P.O, explaining that the two had acted together in Hotel Del Luna. “We were each other’s love interests in the series,” she said.
As the other cast members began teasing him, Seo In Guk pointed out that P.O’s ears had turned red. Kang Mina then revealed the behind-the-scenes moment that made everyone lose it. “I didn’t know at the time, but I heard that during the kiss scene, he was wiggling his toes a lot,” she said.
The cast immediately reacted with mock outrage, jokingly shouting at P.O as he sat there flustered. When asked if he had been that nervous, P.O confessed, “I think I was. It was my first time filming that kind of scene.”
Years after their Hotel Del Luna love line, Kang Mina and P.O’s kiss scene once again became the center of attention, this time for a behind-the-scenes detail P.O probably hoped would stay buried!
