MAMAMOO‘s Hwasa revealed her deep passion for music along with striking photos.
In the April issue of the men’s fashion magazine GQ Korea, recently released, Hwasa captivated attention by showcasing a bold yet restrained charm.
In the released shots, she posed provocatively inside a car, revealing her slender legs, while in another, she gazed at the camera with a natural short hairstyle and a profound look.
In a separate black-and-white shot, she completed a distinctive atmosphere with a clean silhouette and confident attitude.
In an interview conducted alongside the photoshoot, Hwasa candidly expressed her genuine feelings about music. She said, “My love for this work is truly immense. I love it so much that sometimes I feel like I’m going crazy, and sometimes it feels like unrequited love. And that’s a somewhat cruel unrequited love.”
Regarding her dream of becoming a singer, she said, “The time I spend singing and making songs are the most exciting moments in my life,” but added, “No matter how much you love it, that doesn’t mean you can achieve your dream. So, this is a miraculous thing.”
She continued, “I think I created that miracle myself. I made my own luck,” emphasizing, “I’ve lived fiercely. I’ve lived intensely with a happy heart more than with hardships or suffering.”
Meanwhile, Hwasa will release her new digital single “So Cute” at 6 p.m. on the 9th through various online music platforms.
