Lee Jung-eun, Sooyoung, Jeon Sung-woo, Yoo Joon-sang
- Casting continues for KBS’s Home From School (roughly translated), with Yoo Joon-sang (My Lovely Journey), Sooyoung (I Dol I), and Jeon Sung-woo (Can This Love Be Translated) now reportedly in talks to potentially join Lee Jung-eun (Heavenly Ever After) in the family drama. Expected to release in February 2027, the weekender has Lee Woong-hee (The First Night With the Duke, My Perfect Stranger) directing with scripts by Yang Hee-seung (A Hundred Memories, Crash Course in Romance). - JTBC is said to be courting Yoon Hyun-min (Our Golden Days) for Rediscovering Dating (roughly translated), which also has Kim So-yeon (A Virtuous Business) and Kim Ji-suk (Cashero) reviewing offers. In a story about a divorced couple who somehow end up being co-workers on top of being housemates, the rom-com is currently in the planning stages and is aiming to broadcast towards the end of 2026. - There’s a chill in the air on tvN, where Park Eun-bin (The WONDERfools) is the mood to get Spooky in Love in the fantasy-horror’s newly dropped first poster. Along with co-stars Yang Se-jong (Low Life) and Ong Sung-woo (Boyfriend on Demand), the mystery remake is slated to unfold this summer on July 18. Production is being led by PD Lee Min-soo (Resident Playbook) and writer Choi Jung-mi. [Ilgan Sports]
- Kim Do-hoon (Dear X) is reported to be considering the leading role in a new Netflix film called Shaving. Not much has been revealed about the sageuk-action story, but the Korean title – Dochabi – refers to a goblin. Notably penned by screenwriter Hwang Sung-koo (The King’s Warden) with filmmaker/PD Ahn Tae-jin (The Night Owl, The Second Signal) at the helm, filming is projected to begin this coming August. - Nam Yoon-soo (Love in the Big City) has been added to the Korea-Japan collaboration series Merry Berry Love, becoming a free-spirited cupid-like character for developer Ji Chang-wook (The Manipulated) and farmer Imada Mio (Anpan) on a remote island in Japan. Releasing on both Disney+ as well as Japan’s Nippon TV, the rom-com has PD Kim Soo-jung (Semantic Error) and PD Noh Young-sub (My Lovely Liar) attached to direct. [EDaily, Sports Kyunghyang]
- Speaking of rom-coms, ~love~ is budding between Seo In-guk (Boyfriend on Demand) and Park Ji-hyun (You and Everything Else) as well, in the newest poster for tvN’s See You at Work Tomorrow. Also starring Kang Mina (If Wishes Could Kill), Won Kyu-bin (Bitch x Rich 2), and Choi Kyung-hoon (The Tale of Lady Ok), the webtoon-adaptation will be premiering next month on June 22 and follows The Legend of Kitchen Soldier in the Monday-Tuesday slot.
