A popular actress recently posted about a fake ad using her likeness to scam people on her social media, causing alarm.

The ads also included the name of her popular YouTube channel in the banner, making it appear more authentic.
However, Lee warned her fans that she never filmed any videos like those circulating, and urged her followers not to click on the links provided. She also mentioned that despite the texts in the ads being in Korean, it seemed like they were linked to a Chinese website.
Fans responded to Lee’s post by sharing their own experiences of almost getting scammed by these ads, with many admitting that they didn’t even doubt their authenticity.
Lee Ji Hye’s strong callout has caused netizens to be alarmed, since these ads have been popping up all across the internet.
