An affair has come to light between members of the same group.
Yen Chih, lead singer of the Taiwanese band Oppa Shangqing, was revealed to have cheated on his wife, singer Wang Moyu.

The band is known for receiving a subsidy of nearly USD 41,000 from Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture and comprises three members.
Yen Chih was discovered to have had an affair with the band’s drummer, Chen Manqing, whom he reportedly recommended. Details of the affair have included that the pair reportedly had sex in the recording studio, and that the affair occurred while Wang was pregnant in early 2024.

Yen has since admitted to the affair, while Chen paid around 9,200 USD in compensation for the affair. Wang has since shared a story stating that she and her daughter will be fine, despite the affair taking place.
Yen and Wang were married in May 2024, at which time she was already pregnant. Chen was also married at the time of the affair, and her management has confirmed that she has since divorced her husband.
