A famous shaman-turned-star sharply rebuked malicious commenters, drawing attention with what she said.
Recently, a video was posted on Instagram along with the message, “I do distinguish between criticism and blame,” by Noh Seul Bi.
In the video, she candidly responded to the malicious comments. She explained the reactions of those around her, saying, “Everyone says they feel sorry when they see me. Because negative comments keep coming, they feel like helping me.”
Continuing from her earlier remarks, Noh Seul Bi surprised viewers by saying, “But everyone, it’s okay. I understand the mindset of those who leave malicious comments very well.” She scolded malicious commenters, stating, “It’s the only source of dopamine for people without money because it doesn’t cost anything.”
Noh Seul Bi also appeared unfazed when dealing with malicious commenters. She explained her attitude toward the comments, saying, “There was a time when I had nothing, so I ended up leaving some comments myself. Going out costs money, meeting friends costs money. Some people might not even have friends to meet. Just because a few people targeted me for a moment, how could that shake my life?”
Finally, Noh Seul Bi even offered kind words to those who tormented her. She showed strength by saying, “I hope you who leave malicious comments also make lots of money. Then eventually, you won’t leave such comments anymore, so I will pray for your success.”
Noh Seul Bi gained popularity through the shaman survival program Battle of Fates aired on Disney+. In the show, she earned the nickname “MZ shaman” by casually wearing everyday clothes and predicting the time of death of the deceased.
Currently, she is active as the CEO of the Korea Shamanism Association as well as an influencer. Calling herself more of a “shamanism researcher” than a shaman, she has launched services that use AI-based tarot, four pillars, and fortune telling.
