Singer and actress Kang Mina is drawing attention after personally visiting I.O.I’s concert rehearsal despite being unable to participate in the group’s official 10th anniversary activities.
According to reports, Kang Mina surprised members by appearing at rehearsals for I.O.I’s 2026 I.O.I Concert Tour: LOOP in Seoul on May 28.
Although she could not attend the actual concert due to pre-scheduled commitments, she reportedly made time to visit the rehearsal venue in person to support the members ahead of their long-awaited reunion performances. Insiders stated that Kang Mina warmly greeted the members and showed strong affection toward the group after reuniting with them for the first time in a long while.
The visit especially caught attention because both Kang Mina and Zhou Jieqiong (Kyulkyung) were unable to participate in the reunion activities, leading some online communities to spread unfounded feud rumors among the members.
However, many fans now believe Kang Mina’s surprise rehearsal visit effectively shut down those rumors. I.O.I, originally formed through Produce 101 in 2016, recently reunited for their 10th anniversary. The group is currently promoting their anniversary song Suddenly and preparing for concerts across Asia following their Seoul performances.
