Earlier this year, BLACKPINK celebrated their ten-year anniversary, along with wrapping up their DEADLINE world tour.

The group have since resumed their solo activities, including Lisa, who recently released “SaWaDiKa.”
Along with this, Lisa has also begun teasing her next major project — her movie.
“Always Lalisa” will be released later this year, and document a side of Lisa “never seen before.”

On September 9, the a preview of the movie was shared online, setting up the premise behind the film and documenting a year in Lisa’s life.

The first portion of the video mentions the other members of BLACKPINK, with the idol referring to the three other members as her soulmates. She then says that they all promised to take a one year break, during which the film is set.
There were often complaints and debates amongst fans over BLACKPINK’s inactivity as a group, with some saying that Lisa was disproportionally targeted. With Lisa’s admission, some have anger over Lisa taking the brunt of complaints, with the recent disbandment “rumors” only adding to the fire.
