Actor Shim Hyung Tak‘s son, Haru, once again shook the advertising industry with his irresistibly cute charm, drawing the attention of netizens.
On the evening of the 20th, episode 622 of KBS 2TV variety show The Return of Superman aired, vividly capturing the second commercial shoot for baby skincare products featuring Haru, who, despite his young age, is actively working as an exclusive model receiving love calls from various companies.
That day, Haru radiated the aura of a “superstar” with his plump cheeks and charming jawline. Especially during the bathtub scene, his chubby belly and bare skin were fully revealed, instantly captivating not only the staff on set but also viewers at home.
Wearing a towel wrapped around his head like lamb ears, his adorable expression completely swept through the filming site. With baby cream applied to both cheeks, Haru demonstrated a professional demeanor by not crying even once in front of the camera.
However, behind the scenes, his 50-something-year-old father Shim Hyung Tak’s heartfelt struggle to maintain his son’s concentration by stepping up as a self-proclaimed “clown” was evident.
Known for his unique “kidult” sensibility, Shim Hyung Tak broke a sweat coaxing Haru with all sorts of props—ranging from toys to a fan—and his devoted efforts finally led Haru to break into a disarming smile.
After capturing perfect solo shots of his son, Shim Hyung Tak couldn’t hide his emotional gratitude. He said, “I think Haru is here today thanks to the love so many people have shown him,” expressing his thanks.
He continued, “When Haru starts to laugh, I laugh too, and his fatigue just melts away. It’s truly wonderful. That laughter brings a lot of happiness to people,” adding, “Today’s shoot was full of laughs and happiness, making it the best day for Haru,” sharing his heartfelt reflections.
Shim Hyung Tak married his Japanese wife Saya, who is 18 years his junior, in 2022, and welcomed their first son Haru in January of last year.
