Actress Baek Jin Hee is getting married! On September 7, Baek Jin Hee’s agency, Management AM9, officially confirmed reports that the 36-year-old actress will tie the knot early next year.
“Baek Jin Hee will hold her wedding in Seoul on January 23 next year. Her fiancé is an older non-celebrity who resides in Canada.”
According to her agency, the couple maintained their relationship while traveling back and forth between Seoul and Canada before ultimately deciding to spend their lives together. Little has been revealed about Baek Jin Hee’s future husband in order to protect his privacy. He is known only to be an older non-celebrity currently based in Canada.
The wedding will take place in Seoul on January 23, 2027. Despite her upcoming marriage, Baek Jin Hee has no plans to step away from the entertainment industry. Her agency confirmed that she intends to continue acting after getting married.
Born in 1990, Baek Jin Hee made her acting debut through the 2008 film Missing Person before gradually establishing herself through a variety of television and film roles.
She experienced a major career breakthrough with the hit historical drama Empress Ki, where her portrayal of the antagonistic Tanashiri earned widespread attention and multiple rookie acting awards.
The marriage also marks a new chapter in the actress’s personal life. Baek Jin Hee was previously in a long-term public relationship with actor Yoon Hyun Min, with the pair confirming their relationship in 2017 before announcing their breakup in 2023 after approximately seven years together.
Now, three years after the end of that highly publicized relationship, Baek Jin Hee has found love again away from the entertainment industry.
