Former announcers-turned-TV personalities Oh Sang Jin and Kim So Young have welcomed their second child, a baby boy, following the birth of their first daughter.

According to TN Entertainment on April 4, 2026 (KST), the couple gave birth to a healthy baby boy at around 4 PM on April 3. Their agency stated, “Both the mother and the child are in good health. We ask for your warm support and congratulations for the couple as they welcome a new member to their family.”

With this, the couple has become parents of two children, welcoming a son after their first daughter was born in 2019. As Kim So Young had previously shared the tragic news of a miscarriage back in 2023, fans are celebrating the couple’s long-awaited moment of healing and happiness as they welcome their healthy baby boy.

Oh Sang Jin joined MBC in 2005 and rose to prominence as one of its leading announcers. After leaving the network in 2013, he transitioned to freelance broadcasting and has continued appearing on various programs. Kim So Young joined MBC in 2012 and departed in 2017. Since then, she has expanded her career into business, including running a bookstore and working in live commerce, showcasing her versatility across different fields. The couple first met as sunbae-hoobae colleagues at MBC and got married in 2017.
