A shocking case of identity theft recently dragged forecaster-turned-TV personality Park Eun Ji into an unexpected situation—one that escalated all the way to the FBI.

On April 23, 2026 (KST), Park Eun Ji took to social media to warn followers after discovering yet another impersonation account using her photos. Posting in English, she issued a blunt message telling scammers to stop pretending to be her.

The situation, however, wasn’t just another case of online impersonation. According to the TV star, her stolen identity had previously been used in a romance scam, with one individual allegedly posing as her to deceive victims.
Thankfully, the confusion was quickly cleared up by someone close to her. Her husband reportedly stepped in and told authorities the account couldn’t possibly belong to her, even jokingly noting that she isn’t fluent enough in English to be behind such messages!
Another impersonation account report came in… Again, again, again. There was even a Chinese woman before who used my face to run a romance scam. 🤔 The FBI actually contacted me to check if it was really me. But my husband immediately confirmed it wasn’t me, saying, ‘My wife isn’t good at English.’ Hmm. LOL.
