This remarriage news drew even more attention because Eli had previously spoken openly about reconciliation and remarriage during the TV Chosun show We Got Divorced 2, which featured him and his ex-wife Ji Yeon Soo. At that time, the couple appeared to leave open the possibility of rebuilding their relationship out of affection for their son Min Su, but Eli firmly ruled out reconciliation.
