What started as a nostalgic conversation about old scripts and filming memories took a much darker turn when veteran actress Lee Mi Suk opened up about what she allegedly experienced on erotic film sets in the past.
On June 12, 2026 (KST), Lee Mi Suk uploaded a new video to her YouTube channel, in which she discussed scripts from her past projects and shared her experience filming erotic films. According to the actress, intimate scenes at the time were often not written out in detail, leaving actors to face unexpected changes once they arrived on set. “In the case of erotic films, they don’t write those things in detail,” she said.
Lee Mi Suk explained that the scripts would often include only vague, suggestive descriptions rather than clearly stating what would actually be filmed.
For example, it would say something like, ‘The two arrive at a mountain lodge. Things get heated.’ And so the process leading up to filming how things get ‘heated’ would be very eventful. We fought countless times over that on set.

The actress said she would ask directors directly about the expected level of intensity for a scene, but the answers were not always clear. Even worse, she said, things could change once filming began. “I would ask, ‘Director, how extreme are you taking this scene?’ But would they really explain that in detail?” she said.
And once you got to the set, things would change, so there were many times when it became a question of whether we would film or not. While filming, there were times when an actor said they couldn’t do it and walked out, and everyone would wait a long time. Either the director or the actor would give up.

Then, Lee Mi Suk made an even more shocking claim about some directors’ motives while filming erotic scenes.
There were directors who shot those scenes for their own pleasure and satisfaction, too. I would fight against them a lot.

Her comments have since drawn attention for exposing the uncomfortable reality actors faced on certain film sets in the past, especially when intimate scenes were vaguely written, poorly communicated, or changed after actors arrived on set.
