In Regency news, I watched Seeking Persephone. As a person who prefers movies over books, I love it when I get to watch books.
Hades and Persephone had their own versions of what love was. What Adam and Persephone thought it to be was different. And it was the exact opposite of what they wanted for each other. At least they got to communicate what they wanted to each other, even though it was at the ending.
And for all Adam was acting all tough for, I didn’t expect that he was aware of the mythology.
Hyper Knife: I haven’t been able to get into this.
East Palace: So the king wasn’t the villain all along. And here I was gearing myself to watch Jo Seung-woo in a villain role. That was a perfect twist if you ask me.
In exchange, I got a villainous Kwak Dong-yeon. So I guess we are even.
Apartment Job: President Lee is unapologetically evil. And Haekang really knows how to read the room. Seems True Value is not the only estate Lee is skimming stealing from.
Moon Sori is fun in here. Her character is a fun ticking bomb.
The Husband: I take back my praise at the detective.
I really love Taeju and Se-yun being on the same page. Her dad though… something tells me it might be more than the unapproved medical thingy he is running under her nose.
I still don’t buy his explanation to his brother as to why he asked for a divorce. How strategic was that choice of his?
The King’s Warden: This was sad. Very sad. Very painful story.
I watched the 2014 movie Obsessed starring Song Seong-hoon, Jo Yeo-jung and Im Ji-yeon. I can’t believe the husband threw his life away like that. Even after his wife and her family were willing to look beyond his adultery and forgive him for it. I just can’t wrap my head around. Maybe that’s why its titled as it is.
And, it was fun recognizing Jeon Hye-jin in the drama without having to look up the cast.
Spooky In Love: I’m watching the story. It is interesting. But I don’t really enjoy the acting from the cast.
A Bona Fide Killer: I was deliberating on what to watch last night. I settled on this and ended up not regretting it one bit.
Methinks the husband already knows she is Kingfisher.
I’ll watch The Affair Was Just the Beginning today.
