    Would You Rather #73

    by DaebakGrits

In dramaland, leading ladies often find themselves torn between the love of two equally attractive men — a choice none of us would want to make! But what if you did have to pick between the frustrating lawyer and the adorkable police officer? In this feature, we ask you to make the difficult decisions — and we aren’t limiting our options to dreamy oppas.

Vote via the poll and feel free to use the comments to explain exactly how you were able to choose! So, Beanies:

    WOULD YOU RATHER #72 RESULTS

As always, these polls leave plenty of room for interpretation, giving Beanies every opportunity to rationalize their choices — and have a little fun while they’re at it. But when it came to last month’s question, most Beanies didn’t spend much time pondering what “fan benefits” in lieu of pay might actually entail. Well, except for @lordcobol, who, being semi-retired, found the idea of a “fan with benefits” arrangement rather appealing. (Let’s be honest, weren’t we all assuming there’d be some sort of Idol I romance involved?)

As for everyone else (77% of voters, to be exact), their response was simple: “Show me the money!” @coninadisc had a very detailed rational for managing a frenemy instead of their favorite idol. For starters, the idealism and illusion of perfection associated with a favorite celebrity would die the moment they became their manager. Eventually, the shine would wear off, and it would become work without pay. At that point, as @enriquequierecagar pointed out, they’d might as well put up with a high-maintenance frenemy and make bank.

Remaining commenters, like @jerrykuvira, @tumblesunny, @indigoenchantment44, and @amnesiayawns, were in agreement. In the end, the money simply far outweighed the inconvenience of dealing with a difficult celebrity personality. Even @ceciliedk and @asianromance, who questioned whether they could handle a high-maintenance star for the long haul, agreed the job would be still be tolerable in the short term — at least long enough to build up their savings for the day they inevitably rage-quit.
