On June 11, 2026, Brave Entertainment confirmed that the idol will enter a training center on June 23 to fulfill his national defense duties as an active-duty soldier. The news comes just weeks before DKB’s scheduled 2026 DKB FAN-CON ENCORE, set for July 18 and 19.

According to the agency, E-Chan will be unable to participate in the encore performances due to his enlistment. Brave Entertainment expressed regret over the timing and asked for fans’ understanding regarding the sudden update.

Hello, this is Brave Entertainment.
We are providing an update regarding the military enlistment of E-Chan from DKB.
E-Chan will enter the training center on June 23 to receive basic military training and will then fulfill his national defense duties as an active-duty soldier in the army.
We ask for your understanding as this sudden news may come as a surprise. Due to his enlistment, he will unfortunately not be able to participate in the 2026 DKB FAN-CON ENCORE scheduled for July. We deeply apologize for this.
There will be no official events held on the day of his enlistment. Since many military personnel and family members will be present, we kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting the site for safety and accident prevention.
