Expo ’70 Commemorative Park transforms into a music mecca for Summer Sonic 2026’s 25th edition, August 14-16. BLACKPINK’s JENNIE, Audrey Nuna as Huntrix Mira, and LE SSERAFIM join forces with headliners like The Strokes and Jamiroquai in Osaka’s electric lineup. This convergence marks a pivotal moment for K-pop’s global surge at Japan’s rock festival giant.
JENNIE’s Solo Triumph: BLACKPINK Legacy Evolves
A decade post-BLACKPINK’s 2016 debut, JENNIE dominates solo with Ruby, sweeping four Golden Disc Awards in January 2026 including Artist of the Year. Tracks like “Mantra” fused Korean-English flows, topping charts in 19 countries and confirming new music for 2026.
“I’m not just surviving—I’m rewriting the rules.” —JENNIE on her artistic evolution
BLACKPINK’s explosive 2019 Summer Sonic set paved the way; now solo, JENNIE brings intimate power anthems to Osaka’s stage. Her career arc—from group trailblazer to solo empire—resonates deeply with BLINKs worldwide, amplifying K-pop’s fearless narrative.
Audrey Nuna as Huntrix Mira: Soundtrack Star Ignites
Korean-American Audrey Nuna voices Mira in Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters, her “Golden” hitting Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 and fueling Huntrix’s trap-infused hits like “Takedown.” From her 2020 Damn Right EP to A Liquid Breakfast‘s R&B edge, Nuna bridges animation and live performance.
Her Osaka debut spotlights post-Demon Hunters momentum, where fictional Huntrix anthems like “What It Sounds Like” blend pop gloss with raw rap. Fans anticipate her commanding stage presence, marking a breakthrough in K-pop’s hybrid storytelling era.
LE SSERAFIM’s Bold Rise: Fearless to Unstoppable
Debuting in 2022 with FEARLESS, LE SSERAFIM redefined vulnerability as strength, dominating Japan’s Oricon as top rookies with billions in sales. Their EASY CRAZY HOT tour sold out Tokyo Dome in 2025, hits “Hot” and “Easy” delivering high-energy choreography and immersive visuals.
“We’re here to make history—one fearless step at a time.” —LE SSERAFIM on their Summer Sonic debut
This marks their first Summer Sonic appearance, building on UNFORGIVEN‘s global collabs and fan anthems. Their evolution signals K-pop’s new wave: raw emotion channeled into arena-shaking power.
Stage Worlds Collide: Artistry in Motion
These performers craft immersive experiences—JENNIE’s cinematic tracks pulse with emotional depth; LE SSERAFIM layers synchronized precision over anthemic hooks; Nuna fuses rap fire with animated lore. BLACKPINK’s 2019 Sonic guitars and pyros evolved into solo intimacy; LE SSERAFIM adds holographic flair.
At Osaka, LED waves and crowd roars will amplify their synergy. Fandoms fuel this: BLINKs reliving group highs, FEARNOTs rallying for debuts, Nuna stans hyping Demon Hunters soundtracks.
Global Fan Surge: K-Pop’s Borderless Pulse
Summer Sonic Osaka draws 100,000+ fans yearly, blending J-rock with K-pop dominance. JENNIE’s awards silence solo skeptics; LE SSERAFIM echoes BLACKPINK’s Japan reign; Nuna extends animation to live realms.
Viral TikToks of “Mantra” dances, LE SSERAFIM lightsticks at domes, Huntrix edits on X—these milestones peak at Expo Park. K-pop’s international grip tightens here, uniting fandoms in shared euphoria.
