A K-Pop idol revealed that his extreme frugal tendencies, surprising listeners.
On the October 29th broadcast of SBS Power FM‘s Cultwo Show, broadcaster Kwon Hyuk Soo appeared as a special DJ, and the segment “Love Go-Stop” featured singer Nam Yujeong and B1A4 member Gongchan as guests.
On the day of the broadcast, DJ Kim Tae Gyun asked, “Is there a member who saves and economizes?” Gongchan replied, “Me.”
He added, “Rather than a certain level, the older members order coffee, but I don’t drink coffee. When we’re at the salon, there’s coffee at the salon, and when at the company, there’s coffee on the first floor. You can just drink coffee at the company and at the salon, so I don’t know why anyone bothers to order delivery. Why not just drink the coffee?”
Kwon Hyuk Soo commented, “That’s something people who don’t drink coffee say.” Gongchan said, “They say the taste is different.”

Additionally, Gongchan confessed, “We have to save. Since we run the company ourselves, we have to be even more careful with spending. I did save before, but now I save even more — with the mentality of a CEO.”
Kwon Hyuk Soo asked, “Is there anything here you don’t skimp on?” Gong Chan answered, “For me, it’s chicken breast. I like chicken breast, so I order all kinds of flavors.” Kwon Hyuk Soo said, “That’s quite a luxury.”
