On the 21st, VARO Entertainment’s official YouTube channel released a video showing the filming location and travel process for MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama Perfect Crown. In the video, Byeon Woo Seok was seen traveling to the filming site by KTX train.
Byeon Woo Seok boarded the train dressed comfortably with a hat, passing the time eating snacks and looking at his phone. The footage showed him traveling naturally without trying to conceal himself.
Later, IU, who met him on set, asked, “Didn’t anyone recognize you on the train?” Byeon Woo Seok replied, “No one did.” He added, “Everyone’s busy eating or sleeping. If you keep your head down, people really don’t notice. Everyone’s too caught up in their own lives.”
IU responded with a laugh, “But doesn’t anyone recognize you at busy stations? Even with such a tall neck?”, being absolutely savage with her co-lead.
Meanwhile, Perfect Crown is a romance set in a constitutional monarchy version of South Korea. It tells the story of a woman who has everything but is of commoner status, and a man who is the king’s son but lives constrained by restrictions. It airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 p.m.
