During the press conference, he was asked about his feelings regarding the controversy.
This is a program intended to give and receive healing. It is a meaningful position, so I worked really hard. As this was a show to provide healing to the elderly, we had to approach it with the mindset that they were the main characters. I did my best every moment.
— Kim Seon Ho
He did not provide any further clarification regarding the allegations and instead responded by stating that he had worked faithfully during the production of the new series.
Fellow cast members and the team continued to defend Kim Seon Ho.
Kim Ranju stated, “The space must’ve been difficult for the grandmothers, and so when they hesitated to enter, Kim Seon Ho approached them first. Thanks to him, the barrier for the elderly to enter was lowered.”
Kim Hee Ae added, “His image is that of a gentleman, but when he works, he reveals a powerful and masculine leadership.”
