Park Eun-bin gets Spooky in Love with Yang Se-jong

The stage is set for a Spooky in Love tale in tvN’s newest video teaser and character stills, where the unsuspecting Yang Se-jong (Low Life) is offered a cordial invitation, asking him to accompany the exquisite Park Eun-bin (The WONDERfools) into an eerie world.
For hotel CEO and chaebol Cheon Yeo-ri (Park Eun-bin), seeing ghosts is something that has always been a part of her life and though she has come to accept it, it does create a wall between herself and the rest of society. Yeo-ri has to be careful as well – hence all the gloves – because one touch of her hand will cause the other person’s eyes to also be opened to that which would normally be unseen.
Yeo-ri thus approaches prosecutor Ma Kang-wook (Yang Se-jong) with caution, asking again to check if Kang-wook is truly brave enough to take hold of our heroine’s outstretched hand. The smitten Kang-wook assures her that he will do it because it’s Yeo-ri. However, as we see in the trailer’s closing sequence, the consequences are indeed ghostly. And the frightened Kang-wook is quick to hide behind Yeo-ri.
Adapted from the 2011 movie Spellbound (starring Sohn Ye-jin and Lee Min-ki), the supernatural rom-com series also stars Ong Sung-woo (Boyfriend on Demand) playing a rival hotel CEO. Production for the remake has PD Lee Min-woo (Resident Playbook) directing, alongside writing by Choi Jung-mi.
Bringing in the chills and thrills to help cool down the summer days, tvN’s upcoming Spooky in Love will be premiering in the weekend slot on July 18 next month.
