- Agent Kim Reactivated (previously Manager Kim) is strapped for action in SBS’s new group poster, pulling single dad So Ji-sub (Mercy for None) out of spy retirement and he’s going to make all the baddies pay for kidnapping his daughter. Teaming up with the neighborhood pack of also ‟ordinary” ajusshis – Choi Dae-hoon (The WONDERfools) and Yoon Kyung-ho (The Legend of Kitchen Soldier) – the crime-thriller will be premiering on June 26, following My Royal Nemesis in the weekend slot. - tvN has announced production for The Office Worker Who Sees Fate, lining up a shaman Seo In-guk (Boyfriend on Demand) who tries to change his own destiny in order to just live a normal life. Co-starring Krystal (Mad Concrete Dreams) as well as Shin Jae-ha (Still Shining), the fantasy and webnovel-adaptation is slated to broadcast in the early half of 2027. PD Kim Jae-hyun (Dynamite Kiss, One Dollar Lawyer) is directing with scripts by (Cafe Minamdang, Ruler-Master of the Mask). [MBC]
- On the big screens, Shin Mina (Karma) stars in the psychological thriller The Eyes, delivering the chills alongside Kim Nam-hee (Moon River) in the movie’s latest poster and video teaser. Based on the 2010 Spanish film Julia’s Eyes, the Korean remake has director Yeom Ji-ho (Next Door) at the helm and will be releasing in theaters on June 24 this month. [The Fact, Ilgan Sports]
- Red Velvet’s Joy (Once Upon a Small Town) and Kim Hyun-jin (Love Phobia) have been paired in the new slice-of-life and rom-com called, One-of-a-Kind Romance. Kicking off promos with the first poster, the webtoon-adaptation will have a runtime of 12 episodes and will be releasing jointly on TVING, ABEMA, and Viu. Production is being led by director Kim Jin-young (B Cut) and rookie writer Jeon Hyun-mi. [10 Asia, The Fact]
- On Netflix, promos continue for Notes from the Last Row with a batch of character stills, showcasing our suspense story’s central two leads: Choi Min-shik (Big Bet) and Choi Hyun-wook (My Dearest Nemesis). Adapted from the Spanish play El chico de la última fila, the 6-episode series will be launching on June 26. The cast lineup includes Heo Jun-ho (Mercy for None), Kim Yun-jin (Money Heist Korea – Joint Economic Area), and Jin Kyung (Spring Fever) as well. [SBS]
