L helps Kang Min-ah find Love in Sync

Promotions are in full swing for U+ Mobile TV’s fantasy romance Love in Sync as they drop the show’s first teaser, character posters, and stills. Starring L, a.k.a. Kim Myung-soo, (Perfect Family) as a psychologist and Kang Min-ah (Gaus Electronics) as his patient, their respective posters read “My profession, ironically, is a counselor so I cannot just pass by” and “You all must be so happy. You can see the beautiful me all the time.” As if their clashing personalities were not enough, their counseling session goes awry when they experience an inexplicable “emotional transference” that makes them share the other’s feelings.
Stepping onto the red carpet, Yoo Ji-ahn (Kang Min-ah) looks stunning in green as she greets her fans with a wave and a kiss. The idol-turned-actor knows she is gorgeous, too, since she says aloud that no matter where she looks, she is perfectly beautiful. Unfortunately, her personality needs a bit more work as she yells at someone that she was always the center in her group (i.e., the visual and popular one).
Despite wanting to do well as an actor, Ji-ahn struggles to improve as she gets scolded by her director for not conveying the right emotion. Even her management team wonders why she has not gotten better, and grasping at straws, they decide to book her a counseling session to get over this block.
Enter the famous psychologist Cha Eun-hwan (L). He has an unusual record of helping actors get in touch with their feelings, and Ji-ahn hopes to be his next successful case. Change, though, does not happen overnight, and while Ji-ahn might not be the easiest patient, Eun-hwan seems to take his duties seriously. When she ends up at the police station, he comes to pick her up and tells the other party that he is not her attorney but her counselor.
Directed by PD Kim Chil-bong (Numbers) with scripts written by Jung Yeon and Kim Sung-rae, Love in Sync is slated for eight episodes and premieres July 4 in the Saturday-Sunday slot.
