Former ENHYPEN member Heeseung, now going by the stage name EVAN, has been making steady moves since his departure from the group.
Citing differences in musical direction, EVAN parted ways with the six remaining members to pursue a solo career under Belift Lab, reintroducing himself through a personal Instagram account and a minimalist artistic rebrand.
Now fully stepping into his solo era, EVAN has officially announced the name of his fanbase: EVER.
According to the accompanying statement, the name blends “EV” from EVAN and “ER” from “forevER,” symbolizing a bond between artist and fan that is “unchanging over time.”

The sentiment is heartfelt on paper, but many ENHYPEN fans weren’t buying it.
The backlash has been swift and pointed, with many drawing a direct line between the fandom name’s message of permanence and Heeseung’s exit from ENHYPEN.
It’s so sad. He already showed through his group activities that nothing lasts forever, so saying “let’s be together forever” after making a solo debut feels incredibly contradictory.
