A new photo of the idol-turned-independent artist has been making rounds online, sparking major shock over his dramatically transformed look.

Reactions ranged from sheer disbelief to comparisons to a catfish, while others argued the new look wasn’t exactly a downgrade.

Yedam himself has seemingly taken the chaos in stride, reportedly saying he appreciates the reactions, either way — even the negative ones — because they’re all helping to push his latest music.

Yedam’s visual and musical transformation is a far cry from where he started. After seven years of training at YG Entertainment, he debuted with TREASURE in 2020 before departing in late 2022, citing a desire to pursue solo activities and producing on his own terms.
