I think the gumiho and human romance K-drama has hit double digits or at least close enough with the addition next month of SBS drama No Tail to Tell (Human From Today). I can count watching at least half a dozen myself and there are smatterings of it built into other dramas, but this Korean folklore and superstitious myth of the fox with nine tails does lend itself to infinite variations of what would happen when crossed with human life and emotions. Kim Hye Yoon and Park Solomon will be the latest coupling onscreen and she plays the smart and sassy gumiho while he’s a top star that finds his world turned upside down with something beyond his reach. The latest teaser looks really cute and this drama could also kick off 2026 in K-drama land with a fun series to watch.
