TWICE‘s Chaeyoung has personally responded after a video circulated online claiming to show her smoking inside an arena.
The controversy began when a netizen uploaded footage taken in a dark venue and alleged that Chaeyoung could be seen smoking a vape.
It was allegedly when she visited FKA twigs‘ rave.

As the clip spread, speculation surrounding the idol’s actions grew, eventually prompting Chaeyoung herself to address the claims through messages sent to fans on Bubble.
Chaeyoung explained that she had originally intended to ignore the rumors but decided to speak up after seeing how many people were repeating the smoking allegation.

I was going to stay quiet, but so many are mentioning the smoking incident to me. It’s not a smoke, I was drinking a beverage. Please take a good look. It’s so tiring. I’m just having fun.
