VIVIZ will reportedly join entertainment agency UNCORE, which is an agency owned by Joongang Group, who declared bankruptcy back in June.
According to an exclusive report from Mydaily, VIVIZ (Eunha, SinB, Umji) are in the final stages of discussions to signing with UNCORE, currently home to boy group CLOSE YOUR EYES. VIVIZ had parted ways with Big Planet Made Entertainment in April after issuing the agency a contract termination notice, citing failure to properly pay the members and failure to fulfill their obligations. Umji recently shared a letter on her social media, hinting that the difficult times VIVIZ has been facing will be ending soon.
UNCORE is an entertainment agency wholly owned by Joongang Group, which has declared default recently after failing to repay ₩20.6 billion KRW (about $14.8 million USD) in secured loans. The Joongang Group is negotiating with their creditors and JTBC is feeling the after-effects, with the broadcasting airing re-runs of old shows instead of producing new episodes. Some of the broadcast company’s K-Dramas have been seeing production delays due to lack of funding.
